Golden Week is a week-long national holiday in Japan that usually occurs from late April to early May. It is made up of four national holidays that are close together on the calendar: Showa Day, Constitution Memorial Day, Greenery Day, and Children's Day. Many people take advantage of the long holiday to travel, visit their families, or participate in cultural events.
